Sir Clive Woodward, OBE. Director of Elite Performance, British Olympic Association
Following an outstanding international rugby career, Sir Clive established his own successful computer leasing company and also began his remarkable career as a rugby coach. He was appointed by the Rugby Football Union as England’s Rugby’s Head Coach in 1997 and went on to transform the team. Following the World Cup victory, he was rewarded with a knighthood. Sir Clive then went on to enter the world of football, joining Southampton FC as Technical Director. Less than six months into his new role, he was promoted to the position of Director of Football, a position he held until September 2006, when he accepted the newly created and tremendously exciting full time position with the British Olympic Association as their Director of Elite Performance. Sir Clive is currently working in partnership with UK Sport and the 35 Olympic disciplines and their respective athletes, coaches and performance directors to maximise the success of Team GB’s participation in the 2008 Beijing Games and the 2010 Vancouver-Whistler Winter Olympics, culminating in the London 2012 Olympics.
Tim Shaw, Senior Consultant, Capgemini
Tim has more than 15 years experience as a contact centre practitioner. Having started life as an engineer implementing ACDs within the contact centre arena, Tim later made the move into contact centre operations. Today, working as a Senior Consultant in Capgemini’s Marketing Sales & Service Transformation team, Tim has recently contributed to Capgemini’s thought leadership on Contact Centres of the Future and has also worked on a number of contact centre improvement programs. As such, Tim is well placed to share a balanced view of the challenges facing contact centre operations today.
David Payne, Managing Director Maia Consulting
David Payne is founder and Managing Director of Maia Consulting , he has over 20 years experience in the contact centre industry in various key vertical markets including utilities and telecoms. Maia Consulting has been providing pragmatic solutions in the field of customer management since 1999. David will be talking about the consumers increasing ability to exercise choice, arguing that consumers are demonstrating their desire for excellent and consistant service, speed and quality by switching both communications channels and companies faster than they have ever done before. This raises new challenges for companies in how they align services with brand values and brand promises.
Richard Reeves - European Speaker of the Year 2007
Richard Reeves is a business writer, speaker and consultant. He is a first choice speaker and commentator on a wide range of current issues, described by the Guradian as 'Britain's leading expert on workplace trends'. Richard has worked most recently as both Director of Consultancy and Director of Futures at The Work Group (formerly The Industrial Society ) leading the organisation's thinking on work and organisational change. Richard speaks frequently on a broad range of topics including: the future of work, communication, technology, working time, knowledge management and leadership. Richard will be talking about change as an opportunity looking at how we can embrace and manage the change required to allow us to remain competitive in the future.
